Businesses need systems to run efficiently and so does your home.
Life gets busy and hectic. Do you know when you need to change your air filter? Do you spend hours looking for the warranty on your dryer that now won’t dry your clothes? Did you remember to water your plants?
When life gets busy, people get tripped up. Most trip ups happen around:
Food Management – Did you just run out of butter, mayonnaise, bread?
Mail Management – Do you have a stack of unopened bills and junk mail all mixed up in one pile?
Laundry Management – when was the last time you changed your sheets? Did you just run out of laundry detergent?
Household Cleaning and Maintenance Management– do you know where your appliance warranties, vendor contracts are? Do know the color and brand of the paint on that wall that needs to be retouched? When was the last time you washed your windows inside and out?
Medical Management – as people age the trips made to doctors, the number of tests and general medicine management increases. If you ask most people the date they last had a colonoscopy or breast exam they may not remember. And, they possibly won’t remember who the doctor was that administered the exam. Today, it’s just as important to maintain your records and do your part in managing your health than ever before. Be prepared. It could save your life and save you money.
Tax Management – Is everything in one file or scattered throughout your house.
When organizing your home, it is important to remember that routine, habit and efficient systems play an important role in helping you to “stay on top”, be efficient and reduce your stress. You can try and do it the hard way, or…..you can incorporate efficient systems into your home.
